Static bands are a waste of money. . . take a thin stereo wire. and wrop it around your wrist and then to exposed metal on the case. . . not to hard. gets the job done. and you must not do to much gaming with a stock cooler? overall your video wouldnt be very helpful to anyone whos clueless to computers. . more just a techno filled video of you showing off your rig. i cant blame you. who wouldnt want to show off something that costs that much?

wow!!! thats to much for me!!!!
i am a gamer and i will be contented with quad core or dual core soon!!
coz how can you able to use that much memory!!!???
but what did you buy amazed me!!!!

@listojay hey last week I built a budget $550 blaz’n fast system. . . 6GHz dual core, 1TB HD, 1GB nvidea 9500 pro video, 2GB ram ddr2 800, Windows7pro, and 22xDVD burner,. . . did it all in 1hr: 45 minutes giver or take os load time. .
he had a LCD screen & keyboard to save extra cash.
Go blazing in 2010 Happy new decade

i like fans :D

rulesofethics January 18, 2010 at 11:59 am

the Ghz is the speed. .
the higher the front side bus the better. .

also chip secs are listed when you buy a new cpu, Look on the side of the box or on top of the cpu it’s self.
Dual core, quad core have dual or quad processing power kinda like extra channels for power to do tasks and programs.

Have a good one

my dream is to have a powerfull computer just like that one. . .
i only have intel celeron 1. ghz. . . .
how am i suppose to now if it is power full?
is it the ghz?

Edgard27 January 18, 2010 at 1:08 pm

Its not 11. 32 GHz, man.
2. 83GHz its the total, its not multipliable by the number of CPU cores.

Hey last week we got a 64bit AMD 2. 8Ghz dual core, 2 GB ram, 1TB green drive. . bare-bone system for $249

It still needed dvd rom, and fans. . but vista score is 3. 4 “now this for $250 is one heck of a deal”

rulesofethics January 18, 2010 at 2:39 pm

looks like you only need case fans and you’ll be all set. .

rulesofethics January 18, 2010 at 3:32 pm

Thanks for the comment. .
There was no need to adjust jumper pins. .
What model motherboard ?

transistorbaluba January 18, 2010 at 4:30 pm

did you remember to adjust jumper pins on the mother board? i’m going to build a windows vista 64bit computer, so i think i have to use the jumpers.

nah, it’s a full system. the motherboard was only $40. Mine is Intel dual core 2. 2GHz, motherboard, DVD burner, 160GB hard drive, 2GB RAM, 300watt power supply, 1 case with fan.

rulesofethics January 18, 2010 at 6:23 pm

This system was a complete build.
Ultra Tower, Intel 2. 83 quad CPU, Motherboard, DVD burner rom, 1TB black drive, 4GB Oz ram, 500 watt Power supply. 2 Case fans, Wireless keyboard/mouse,
22″ LCD monitor, Windows XP Pro OEM, & 2. 1 Speakers.

I’m sure a mombo for $240 yes? but not a full system. .
THx

It’s a good tutorial, will help me when my parts arrive. But you don’t need $1500, I got my parts for $240.
